Meet Taylor

Taylor is a young boy estimated to be around 10–11 months old. He came to us from a hoarding situation in the Mat-Su area and has been with our rescue for a little over a month.

Taylor is a gentle, sweet cat who simply hasn’t had many positive experiences with people. While he has made progress in rescue, he is still very shy and will often run away when he feels unsure. He isn’t the kind of cat who will greet you at the door on day one, and he will need a patient adopter who understands that trust takes time.

What Taylor does have is potential. At less than a year old, he still has his whole life ahead of him and plenty of opportunities to learn that people can be safe, kind, and loving. He gets along wonderfully with his feline friends and takes comfort in the company of other cats, making him a great candidate for a home with a confident cat companion.

Taylor may never be the life of the party, but with patience, understanding, and a commitment to letting him move at his own pace, we believe he can continue to blossom into a wonderful companion.
