Meet Amber

Amber is a 7-year-old Anatolian Shepherd, Great Pyrenees, and Rottweiler mix, and honestly, she’s just the sweetest soul.

At around 60 pounds, Amber is what we like to call a “gentle giant.” She’s calm, easygoing, and perfectly content just hanging out with her people. She isn’t the kind of dog who needs to be the center of attention—she’s happy simply being nearby, quietly loving her family.

We’ve been told Amber does well with cats, dogs, puppies, and children. Her previous family said she would patiently let the kids drape themselves all over her. While we’d never recommend letting children hang on a dog’s neck, it definitely gives you an idea of just how tolerant and laid-back this girl is.

Amber can be a little shy when meeting new people, but it’s not because she’s unfriendly, she just likes to take a minute to warm up. Once she warms up, you’ll quickly discover what everyone else already knows: Amber doesn’t have a mean bone in her body.

She has the kind of presence that makes a house feel more like home. Quiet, steady, gentle, and full of love.
