Yetta is a 40lb, 8 year old who is looking for her forever home. She came to us from Mat Su Animal Shelter and has been in shelter for 4 months. She had a quick adoption but was brought back due to the resident dog not enjoying a companion.

Yenta is the kind of dog that brings so much love and energy wherever she goes. She’s a total sweetheart who just wants to be part of the family and involved in everyday life.

She’ll let you know when she needs to go outside and settles nicely when kenneled or in a room. Yetta is also a smart girl and already knows quite a few commands like sit, stay, down, come, leave it, drop, okay, quiet, and even “treat.” She’d love a home that keeps her mind busy and gives her chances to keep learning.

When it’s time to play, tennis balls are her favorite, along with chew toys she can entertain herself with. She’s playful, affectionate, and loves both activity and downtime with her people.

Yetta does well with men, women, kids, and other dogs.
